Foundation
In 1986, Group Industries Pte Ltd was founded at Lorong Bistari in Singapore by Mr A.T. Lim. With a small team and a singular vision, we embarked on a journey to provide the highest quality foundation piles in the region.
Expansion
A couple years of success allowed us to expand our operations. In 1990, we moved to a larger yard at 17 Sungei Street 4, quadrupling our production capacity and extending our reach to serve a wider range of customers.
Certification
In 1994, we achieved both the SISIR GMP and the PSB ISO 9000 certifications within the same year, which cemented Group Industries as an august player in the construction industry.
Award
A special year. Group Industries was awarded the prestigious Singapore Quality Class award which further exemplifies her commitment to quality and business excellence.
Innovation
Y2K marked an era of innovation for Group Industries. We introduced cutting-edge technologies never seen in the concrete production industry to enhance our capacity as well as our quality and consistency. These technologies included magnetic rebar handling systems, automatic cage making machines, pile casting machines and more. A first in the region to utilize such technologies in a concrete setting.
Synergy
Consteel Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary, was established as a synergistic divestment into the steel trading, stockist and value-add industry.
Global Reach
In 2008, Group Industries went global, We opened our international manufacturing facility in Malaysia, bringing our products to a global market.
